What this site is

The Islamic Dream Book compiles and presents traditional dream interpretations from the classical Islamic sources, alongside articles on how the tradition approaches dreams. It is an educational and informational reference.

What this site is not

Nothing here is a religious ruling (fatwa), a prediction, or advice on which to base a decision. Dream interpretation in the Islamic tradition is uncertain by nature, and we present it for reflection only. For anything you intend to act on, consult a qualified scholar and, where relevant, a qualified professional. If a dream distresses you persistently, or touches on your health or safety, please speak to a doctor or an appropriate professional; this site is no substitute for that.

Accuracy and corrections

We work carefully from the classical sources and cite them, but translations vary between editions and mistakes are possible. If you find an error, we genuinely want to hear about it via the contact page, and we will check it against the sources and correct it.

Intellectual property

The articles on this site are original editorial work. You are welcome to quote brief passages with a link back to the page. Republishing whole articles without permission is not allowed.

Advertising

The site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for their own content. See our privacy policy for what advertising cookies mean for you and how to opt out.
