These are the images of worship: the Kaaba, prayer, wudu, fasting, the Qur'an, angels, Paradise and Hell. Nearly all of them lean favourable, and that is a pattern worth understanding before you read any single entry. The dictionaries treat a dream of doing good as a good tiding, but the Sunnah never lets a dream stand in for the deed. Seeing yourself pray is not a reason to skip a prayer.

The frightening entries here, Hell above all, get the gentlest handling. The recorded precedent is a dream of the Fire that ended in reassurance and a nudge to pray more at night, and each entry tells you where its reading stops and where only the dictionaries speak.
